Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply to every trip, transfer and rental booked with Gauri Tours & Travels.

Last updated: 7 October 2026

These terms apply to every booking made with Gauri Tours & Travels, Nashik — outstation trips, airport transfers, tour packages, local hire and vehicle rentals. By confirming a booking with us, you agree to them.

1. Booking & confirmation

  • Quotes are free and given on request, based on the vehicle, route, dates and number of days you need.
  • A booking is confirmed only once we have received the booking advance and sent you a confirmation by WhatsApp, SMS or email.
  • A quote is valid for the route, dates and vehicle it was given for. If any of these change, the fare may change too.
  • Please give us accurate pickup addresses, travel dates and the number of passengers, so we can send the right vehicle.

2. Vehicle & driver

  • We provide an air-conditioned vehicle of the type you book, with an experienced driver. We provide the vehicle and driver only — hotel stays, meals, guides and entry or darshan tickets are not included unless they are written in your confirmation.
  • If the booked vehicle becomes unavailable (for example after a breakdown), we will try to arrange a vehicle of the same or a higher category. If we cannot, we will refund what you paid for the part of the service we could not provide.
  • Drivers follow traffic rules and local restrictions. They may decline instructions that are unsafe or unlawful, such as over-speeding, carrying extra passengers or using closed roads.

3. Fare & billing

  • Fares depend on the vehicle, distance, duration and dates of your trip.
  • Toll, parking and state entry or permit charges are extra and paid as actuals, unless your quote says they are included.
  • Driver allowance, night charges and extra kilometres or hours beyond the agreed plan may apply; your quote will show how these are charged.
  • The balance is payable as stated in your booking confirmation.
  • Fares for peak dates — including festivals and the Simhastha Kumbh Mela — may differ from regular fares.

4. Luggage & passengers

  • The number of passengers cannot exceed the seating capacity of the vehicle.
  • Luggage is carried within the space available in the vehicle. If you have extra or oversized luggage, please tell us when you book.
  • Illegal, dangerous or highly flammable items may not be carried.

5. Conduct

  • Smoking, alcohol and drugs are not allowed inside the vehicle.
  • Damage to the vehicle caused by passengers is payable by the person who made the booking.
  • The driver may stop the trip if passengers behave in a way that is abusive or puts anyone’s safety at risk.

6. Changes & delays

  • You can ask to change your dates, timings or route; changes depend on availability and may change the fare.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, police or administrative restrictions (including Kumbh Mela traffic plans), strikes or other events outside our control.
  • For flights, trains and important appointments, please allow extra time. We plan pickups with a buffer, but we cannot be responsible for a missed connection caused by delays outside our control.

7. Liability

  • Our liability for any booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking.
  • Please keep valuables with you. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle, but we will do our best to help you get them back.

8. Cancellations & refunds

  • Please tell us about a cancellation as early as possible.
  • Whether the booking advance is refunded depends on how close to the trip you cancel; the cancellation terms for your trip are stated in your booking confirmation.
  • If we have to cancel a confirmed booking, we will refund everything you have paid for it.
