Trip plan

Day 1 — Nashik to Ujjain

Long drive to Ujjain via Dhule and Indore; evening aarti at Ram Ghat on the Kshipra.

Day 2 — Mahakaleshwar & Ujjain temples

Early-morning Bhasma Aarti and darshan at Mahakaleshwar, then Bade Ganesh, Harsiddhi Mata, Kal Bhairav, Mangalnath and Sandipani Ashram.

Day 3 — Indore & return

Stop at Khajrana Ganesh temple in Indore, then the drive back to Nashik.

Good to know: Bhasma Aarti passes are booked online on the temple's official site and sell out early — book before you travel. Shravan Mondays are the busiest days.
