Trip plan
Day 1 — Nashik to Statue of Unity
Drive to Ekta Nagar (Kevadia) via Surat; evening laser show at the Statue of Unity.
Day 2 — Statue of Unity to Ahmedabad
The viewing gallery inside the statue and the Valley of Flowers, then on to Ahmedabad and Sabarmati Ashram.
Day 3 — Ahmedabad to Dwarka
Long drive to Dwarka via Rajkot; evening aarti at Dwarkadhish temple.
Day 4 — Dwarka
Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, Bet Dwarka across Sudarshan Setu, Rukmini temple and Gomti Ghat.
Day 5 — Porbandar to Somnath
Kirti Mandir, Gandhiji's birthplace in Porbandar, then along the coast to Somnath for the evening light-and-sound show.
Day 6 — Somnath to Surat
Morning darshan at Somnath and Bhalka Tirth, then a long drive to Surat.
Day 7 — Surat to Nashik
The drive home to Nashik.
Good to know: The Statue of Unity is closed on Mondays — we plan the route around it. Gujarat is a dry state.
