Trip plan
Day 1 — Nashik to Bhimashankar & Lonavala
Drive to Bhimashankar for darshan and a forest walk to Gupt Bhimashankar, then down the ghats to Lonavala.
Day 2 — Lonavala & return
Tiger's Point, Lion's Point and Bhushi Dam, the Karla caves and Ekvira Devi temple, then the drive back to Nashik.
Good to know: Waterfalls and mist are at their best in the monsoon, but Bhushi Dam gets very crowded on weekends — go on a weekday if you can.
